What is a “developers program” in this context? Sorry, I’m not following that.
Thanks for your software info. I don’t see any red-flags there…but it was good to check.
Good to hear that Copy/Paste is working in 5.2.4…but still concerning that you’re seeing it in the RhinoWIP. It would be nice to get to the bottom of this. So far, you are the only person reporting this, as far as I know.
Was indeed Xcode, works now.
WIP works as well, but a little different than 5.2.4.
The new screen looks active, but I have to manually activate te new screen before Pasting and than it works.
5.2.4. Won’t open again! Yesterday it worked now it won’t.
No developer tool what so ever, basket case emptied.
I’ve made a new installation, removed the WIP.
Maybe something with the license?
I guess this thread can be considered officially hijacked
Can you please be more specific when you say:
Won’t open again!
I am interpreting this as: When you click on the Rhinoceros icon in the Dock, it bounces, but then stops bouncing and nothing happens. Is that the behavior you are experience? If not, can you please elaborate?
What happend was- I clicked the Rhino icon in the dock, it opened. Then when I clicked new model, it won’t open
I first thought it was blocked by a developers program, so I got writ of Xcode. Then it opens for one or two times and it blocked again. So I uninstalled all of the Rhinofiles except for the com.mcneel.rhinoceros.plist but the problem existed.
Then after I made a total uninstall and reinstalled it again it finally worked.
I’ve been seeing copy/paste issues too starting with 132w and continuing in 143w across several systems. Seemed intermittent, and eventually will paste (repeated attempts), so carried-on. Took a moment and found a repeatable pattern.
Launch Rhino Mac into new model
Draw cube in Perspective window and copy it to clipboard
Create new model (File-New) and do not change (rotate, switch, etc) any view
command-V or tools-commands-paste from clipboard or file-paste will not paste
You can see the Tools menu ‘flash’ when evoking command-V
Now rotate the view and paste - object should paste.
A change in view seems to be one of the triggers that permits paste, at least for me. Strange…
