Is it possible to copy a point-generated surface from the Rhino file it was created in and paste to another Rhino file?

You can have multiple instances of Rhino open, each with a different file, at the same time.
Go to the instance with the file you want to copy from. Select the object or objects you want to copy and past… Ctrl c to copy the object or objects into the Windows clipboard.
Go to the instance with the file you want to past to. Ctrl v to past the object or objects from the Windows clipboard. Save the result.
Myunderstanding is this works with any type of Rhino objects.
An alternative is to open the file with the objects to be transfered. Select and Export the objects using whatever file name you wish.
Open the file where the objects need to be transfered to. Import the file with previously exported objects.
