I have a question regarding the topic. Can I automatically copy elements from the linked file into the current file using rhino inside?
Because sometimes you have a lot of elements from a linked file and wanna copy it into your file.

We are working into making Grasshopper capable of remember elements that it creates to allow it replace those elements with new ones on a second run of the same definition on the same model.
Coping elements between documents will be possible on the same release we have this ready.
It is one of our test cases.
We hope to have this “soon”.

In the meantime, I will be using Dynamo for copying elements then.
