I’ve got a customer having trouble getting their Rhino educational working–or at least that’s what I’m told. What is the procedure? Should it not be easier to find the procedure? I don’t know if anyone has ever asked be before…
Normally it just involves removing the evaluation key and putting in the paid educational key…
Yeah he says he’s done that, but it’s still saying ‘evaluation’…
Key installed locally or in a Rhino account? With a Rhino account you really need to remove the eval license key, otherwise it still looks for it even if the paid key is added.
Other possibility, that the paid key was put in a Rhino account and the eval key was installed locally - or vice-versa. In that case it’s looking in the wrong place for the key.
Sometimes having them contact sales@mcneel.com directly is the fastest way for them to get up and running, as they see everything…
