Hi everyone, I’m looking to convert a growing curve on a sphere into a closed curve or a mesh surface to give the overall geometry some thickness same as the photo I uploaded. I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on this!
Probably not what you are searching for, but what about a simple “pipe” ?

There are a few scripts / definitions in this forum which have a more useful result…
@laurent_delrieu is the specialist.
Below is one of his definitions. I lost track from which post it came.

If you want a closed curve begin to grow a closed curve ! A line is not closed you can choose a circle for example.
You can also use some Hamiltonian path to have a closed curve
or clustering, or Reaction diffusion …
When you have the curve you can use Shrinkwrap (doesn’t work fast here) or Dendro to make a solid

Thanks for sharing your solution; it is great. The only problem is that the pipe component makes the whole process slow. Is there any substitute for it or not?
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I could see components related to scripts. I tried to install Rhino code plugin, but I could not:( is it available in food4rhino as a plugin?
Much appreciated for sharing this solution! I just have a quick question. Based on the photo you shared, did you bake the geometry to achieve the result shown in the image, or did you extract this view in a different way? I tried using render mode, but mine doesn’t look the same as yours.
No baking i just changed the grasshopper colors and suppress transparency
