Contour following a curve or shape

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to make a non linear contour.

E.g: contour made upon a curved surface and following this curvature.

You could use a path to position planes, but it depends on your surface you will need surfaces to not get double intersections. Also you might want to change the post into a Category( is it a GH question?).

First, thanks for the answer. And no, I was asking if it was possible in rhinoceros

Not sure what you need exactly without an image or file, but you can project or pull curves in space onto to surfaces, as well as draw a new curve directly on a surface using _InterpCrvOnSrf…

I would like to do something similar to this draw:

Hello - I have an old RhinoScript that does, I think, what you are asking -

ContourAlongCurve.zip (1.8 KB)

Save, Unzip and then drag and drop the rvb file onto Rhino to get
CountourAlongCurve
as an alias to run the script.

Is that even close?
