Contour export for CNC extremely slow

Hi, I am cnc 2d cutting many contours. I exported contours from Rhino in DXF file. When I import to Fusion360 as my CAM software, it is very slow to handle… Does anyone know better export setting or workflow for a 2D contour CNC jobs? thanks

Hi Kym,

We see how the objects will be exported but we do not know what the original objects are.
Are they lines, arcs or splines, or a combination of the 3 types?

What is slow in Fusion360 …the import of the file only, or is it later in the process, ie, the time it takes to generate the toolpath from the imported file?

The original object is quadmesh and the contours are curve lines!

Possibly very dense high point count curves which are not being handled well by your importing software…
