Constructing Building Masses from Points

Hello all, I want mass 9 masses grouped in 3 masses. So one group exist of a balcony, gallery and appartment. In this case I have 3. I want this on basis of the intersection points of the grids. Can anybody help me?

Test grids.gh (8.8 KB)

For this, I thought I’d familiarize myself with the Paneling Tools plug-in. Below is the result with a combination with Anemone:

Test grids VR 01.gh (37.9 KB)

I feel this could done more effectively? Without the use of Path Mapper? I’d appreciate someone showing a better way.

Hi Volker, appreciate your effort. but I retrieve my grids from revit. So I have lines that are to long for the grid. As you can see below.

Then it is going to be impossible.

If all you have are the lines, and they extend too long, they will create intersections that have nothing to do with the building. Outside the building, fine. You could import the building perimeter to cull those intersections. Inside the building… :person_shrugging:
