Consistent crashing of Revit/RI when an independent Rhino session is open

I’m not sure where the best place to post this is, but I can reliably crash Rhino.Inside and Revit when a stand-alone instance of Rhino happens to also be open. It happens in one of two ways: a) ideally, I am finished with my Rhino.Inside & Revit uses, and I’m trying to close out of Revit, or b) if I happen to access the stand-alone Rhino session, the Revit/Rhino.Inside session will crash without fail. I have no idea how this should be addressed, but wanted to make the RI team aware if its not already on the debugging list. For now, I generally try to avoid having a separate Rhino session open, and that usually does the trick.

Thanks for all the amazing work on this feature, I’m using more regularly in my day-to-day workflow with great success!

I Alex, I often have multiple versions of Revit/Rhino and standalone Rhino sessions open and haven’t seen or heard of this issue. Can you open Rhino and check the SystemInfo in the command line and paste back here please? The Revit & Rhino.Inside.Revit version would be helpful as well. Thanks.

Thanks @Japhy - it’s been occurring in Revit 2022 (I can’t remember if I also experienced it in Revit 2021), and here’s my Rhino.Inside version (I see a new update is available, so will also install that):

Here’s what my SystemInfo includes:

Thanks, nothing jumping out in your Versions, you’re fairly up to date.

Please disable the plugins that don’t come with Rhino (Vray, Enscape, Datasmith) and see if the issue persists.

Plugins can be disabled in File>Properties>Plugins then restarting all open Rhino instances.
