Consecutive structure along contour lines

Hello!

I am currently trying to find a way to control contour lines i have in my project. I wanted to create some kind of consecutive structure, representing a walking path, along the contour lines (outside). Do you have any ideas how to do that? Preferrably flat surfaces, one higher than the one before; but im open to every suggestion.

Thanks for your help! It looks very promising already. Is there a way to continue the loft in the z-axis and therefore include the third contour line? Right now it stays between just 2 contour lines.
