Hi forum.

I would like to know if there’s a possibility to connect GH directly to a CNC machine (pen plotter in this case) so I can convert my curves into gcode and stream it directly to the plotter. I’m pretty sure it will be easier with c# or python, but a plugin could also be helpful.

I’ve searched the forum and the internet about this and found nothing. any tip will be appreciated!

Thanks.

I was about to come in and say I’ve written a couple plugins for this exact thing, but I see Greg’s already got my back! 🤝 💪

Awesome to know you have this running.

This thread may also be a good reference:

> Beating on this some more on my end; I think I’m seeing a combination of mac related serial port shenanigans and some plotter quirks: Inkscape on Windows works fine, Inkscape on Mac chokes after a few lines. I’m using the ‘Plot’ extension, with HPGL selected. Control from the terminal not working from either. I swear I could do an IN;PD;PU; and at least get some life out of it a few weeks ago. It reports ‘Cutting’ whenever it receives characters. None of the Output Instructions report anything…

Cheers
