Concealed Door Frame?

I am trying to create a door with concealed door frame, as the image showed.

Is it possible to only cut through the core but allow the wall finish to cover up the door frame?

Or is there is any workaround for this?

Cheers,
Ray

Workaround: If it is a grasshopper style, you can set an opening curve which cuts the wall and still have geometry outside of that curve. So the frame of the door might not be the full thickness of the wall, only the thickness of the stud layer.
It doesn’t actually cut the stud layer, but should show up in plan correctly, especially if you give the frame a solid hatch it should show up on top. This is how I make pocket doors.

Since VA doesn’t have a ‘rough opening’ method to cut the wall yet, or some other geometry that cuts, this is also how you get your door schedules to accurately list the width of the door slab rather than the default method of slab + frame.
