Is it possible to compose cross sections for beam elements that consist of compound sections? Say, if I was to draw the shape in Rhino, extrude to a length and use this is a beam in Karamba?

Hi, it is currently not possible to create custom sections in Karamba. However you can “simulate” the behaviour as follows: Angular cross-sections in Karamba?
Thanks for taking the time to respond, Matthew. It doesn’t quite give a solution but at least I know before I wasted time. Reading that conversation was interesting though because there were some incidental remarks by Clemens that help on another Karamba model I’m working on involving cold rolled building design.
