Recently, I was looking for a way to have view specific visibility of objects and I ran into interesting workaround. I need to set custom shading attributes to the objects I want to hide only in one view. This specific Display Mode has unchecked “Shade objects” and therefore objects become invisible.

However, there is still one issue. **Even invisible, they still can be selected.**
I don’t want to lock them, because in other view I am actively working on them.

Is there any workaround to make them invisible and unselectable only in one view?
