I use Rhino 5 everyday at work and every morning when I start up again, all my commands have been forgotten and I have to ‘train’ Rhino again from scratch. For example, Tr gives me Triangulate mesh rather than trim.
Is there a setting somewhere to enable Rhino to remember my usual commands? On my personal computer it remembers, just not on the computer at work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi Josh - see if the setting in Options > Appearance > ‘Use Fuzzy autocomplete’ is set.
‘Use Fuzzy Autocomplete’ is ticked already. It still doesn’t remember commands.
Hi Josh - just a shot in the dark but … try this: Close all instances of Rhino. Right click on the Rhino icon and choose RunAsAdministrator - run Rhino, close and reopen normally - does Rhino start remembering your favorites from that point? I don’t know, even assuming that this ‘does it’ that it will show up immediately it may need to build up enough use to know what your commonly used commands are.
BTW, does the PopUpPopular command show anything that makes sense?
The PopUpPopular command does show my common commands before I ran as Admin and only some of them after but I will let it build up the common commands again and see what happens early next week.
Thanks for the help.
Mine did this as well, and Rhino6 still does it. VERY FRUSTRATING.
Hi Evan - did ‘Run as administrator’ once (as described above) help for you?
Did not work, but to be fair… I cannot actually run as admin, i can only “run elevated”.
