Command "SubDExpandeEdges"

In my humble opinion, certain commands, like this one, should be implemented more intuitively and profitably.
Using this command (but there are many others like it) through the command line, with the various options difficult, it seems to me like throwing the shot in the foot to the “friendly” usability of Rhino.

Preview options and interactive handles would be welcome (many professional cads and do not implement these possibilities); it is not about “games”, throws here, throws there, but about possibilities that, in the course of modeling, show you what the designer is creating.

The “slid” SubD command is an example of what I mean. Let’s take an example to implement other interesting tools in a coherent way.

do you have an idea on what the interface should look like? What is missing, and if you had to design it, what would it look like?

Verbal descriptions are great, but Having visual info like this helps us evaluate how we need to improve future versions of Rhino-

Software that use “handle” mode there are many.
I can post an example of what I mean, for example about UDT modifiers:
This would be an idea, not at all trivial.
