Command prompt doesn't work properly on Mavericks

Hello everyone!

I’ve just installed Mavericks on my mac book pro and downloaded the latest release of rhino but the command prompt doesn’t work properly…it takes time to input the command and as soon as I type in the first letter to recall the command the little rainbow wheel appears…the prompt takes at least 5 seconds to react to my input…does anyone know what that could be!? Thanks in advance for the help

here’s my Open GL info

I don’t know if can help but seems that some prompt is slower than other. For example prompt start with s…

Yep! right…the prompt seems to be slower with commands starting with S…
Also the new release of Rhino that came out yesterday has the same problem on Mavericks…

Please use the Rhinoceros > Preferences > OpenGL panel for getting your computer settings. There’s a lot more information there that is useful to us. Thanks.

Here Imac OpenGL setting. thanks

Thanks for the tip. Also, thanks gio for posting your OpenGL settings.

I see this, too, but it is only happening on OS X Mavericks. The exact same 2103-10-28 release is instantaneous when typing commands on 10.7 and 10.8.

OS X Mavericks has serious problems.

Yes, also in my opinion Maverick has serious problem. The ox is good but I have troubles also with other sw. I’m considering to come back to m_lion, but it is a really boring operation.

I think I’ll wait some days new upgrade from apple or some “fixed” by you.
you are great, thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot. The last release works on Mavericks!!!

Using 2013-11-13 (489) as of today and I have now lost the ability to execute functions from the command line. If I type for example _Mesh and hit enter I get nothing. Same for join, line, split. Previous version was all good.

_Box works however. Also just tried a simple Boolean Diffference but was unable to progress past the first object because the enter key is not registering. My Alias` appear to initiate but without the enter key registering I cannot execute some of them.
