When using the render view in viewing options, objects do not show with the same color in spite of having used the match properties dialog and both objects apparently having exactly the same properties and material assigned ¿¿¿???

Perhaps you could elaborate what the actual issue was and the fix for it. No future user will find the mention of you finding the issue of any particular help by itself, even though you marked that as the solution.

Hi Nathanletwory, I wish I knew what I did myself 
I entered the editing material menu changed the colour form light yellow to white and it worked, on the pieces that where white the material was the same, soi IMHO it was a bug
