I’ve made a few changes color changes but they don’t register. e.g. I set Rhino.Options.UiPaintColars.PressedStart to an orange. (#FB7F02FF) But it does not display. The Ortho, Osnap. etc buttons stay black when pressed. Other color changes also have not stuck.

In Rhino 8, relevant advanced options related to the UI elements are being moved to the Rhino.UI.ThemeSettings.[...]. I’m not 100% sure what you mean by “have not stuck”, but those settings are (or should be) irrelevant in Rhino 8 anyway…

I figured things might be changing in the appearance setting and options and still in flux. The WIP8 icons (dark theme) look awful on my screen while V7 looks great.
What I meant about “stuck” was that I made the changes in the “advanced” settings, but when I reopen advanced they have reverted.
Correct. That is the current behavior (undesirable) and under active development.
