Cmd-z Mac Ball of Death

Probably just a easy bug fix but I just recently upgraded to Rhino 7 for Mac. I’m running the latest version of Rhino on Mac OS Big Sur.

Every once in a while when I cmd-z to undo I will get the spinning beach ball and have to eventually force quit Rhino. Seems like it happens randomly. The project I’ve been working on is very simple and small so I’m not sure why my computer is struggling.

If possible I can attach a crash log if that helps resolve the issue.

I have the same issue as do other people as well. We have reported it here:

But no answer from McNeel yet.

Oh interesting. Thanks for sharing the other post. I’m sure McNeel will be on it soon.

We think we’ve addressed this issue in the recent Rhino 7.3 update. Please update and let us know if you’re still seeing the beachball.

Thanks Dan! I’ll update and let you know.

Still happening here. Minimal geometry in the file - tracing a photo, one curve into it. Undo, Rhino locked up.
