Closing a models edges, wont cap

So I have this object that I split with two planes then Boolean unioned the 4 parts in to 2. I want to cap the holes along the edges but they wont cap and I’m not sure how to close them so the object is solid… I checked the help and everything looks okay with the edges and faces.
Is there a way to close these holes? or is there a way to split them where they create closed edges?

Hi Stefan - try making the cut shape as a single planar curve, then use WireCut to trim the object.
