Closed beta 3D printing plugin / looking for toolpath testers

Hi,

I’m currently developing a Grasshopper plugin for 3D printing. The goal is to open up new ways of working with digital fabrication while still giving users full control over machine movement.

The plugin is mainly aimed at ceramic 3D printing and large-scale 3D printing, but the underlying approach is not limited to those areas. It is designed to be useful for advanced users who want detailed control and also for less experienced users who need a more accessible workflow.

The plugin is becoming more mature, but it still needs more real-world testing. I’m currently looking for beta testers with experience in clay 3D printing or large scale fdm, who would be willing to try it out and give feedback.

After the closed beta I will do an open beta and a full release in a couple of months.

If you are interested write me an DM or at toolpaths@juengerkuehn.com

The plugin is called TOOLPATHS and the current docs can be found here: Toolpaths is a Grasshopper plugin for generating and simulating G-code.

I do try to install from Package Manager but I am asked for a license key file.

Hi yes it is a closed beta, meaning you need a license key to test it. I can send you one in a DM

Ok. Thank you. I am most interested in the CNC part, as I do work with two SCM routers.

Hi,

I’d be very interested in testing TOOLPATHS. I’m currently working with Grasshopper and 3D printing workflows, especially around large-scale material extrusion, so this sounds really relevant to my work.

I tried installing it through the Package Manager, but it asks for a license key. Is there a beta key available for testing?

Thanks!
