Hey guys, unfortunately this is really urgent I need the outer surfaces for a unroll, but I don’t know how to close the gaps between the extrudes, can someone help me?

Hello - I’d build it like this, I think:
without the thickness if the idea is to unroll the outers…
-Pascal
This is an element which covers an other element which is under that one. I think I will need the outer surface for the unroll because I would loose some surface otherwise, no?
you just picked the buttom surfaces right?
Hello - no, I re-created the outer surfaces.
-Pascal
Ah okay, but how did you do that?
I can’t find the point between the upper and the diagonal extrude, where the “gap” is
Hi @isabelle.grahlke here you have two alternatives, using extractSrf with Copy=Yes to work with your original surfaces and then use ConnectSrf which doesn’t help too much. the second option is to use your bottom surfaces, then use OffsetSrf and ExtractSrf the top surfaces to UnrollSrf with the option Explode=No.
If you want more control how the UnrollSrf works, try with the Command UnJoinEdge first, to select wich edges you want to “split”
In the Help panel you can se when I use each command
Great, thank you very much!! But what about these points (see picture); can I just connect them with the middle point?
Use SolidPtOn on the center surface to move each vertice to the point you want. ( extract it first)
Cool, thank you very much!!
you can also split by Isocurve each side surface, picking those inner vertices as reference.
