Is this repeatable on your end? It seems that when I have a clipping plane in my scene and I have locked blocks, the clipping gives me z fighting and “poches” the entire block instance.
If I unlock my scene I have no issues with the blocks.
@michaelvollrath I don’t see it. Can you please share the simplest example you can extract out of your model and share here? Also please share which version and SR are you running.

Sorry I can no longer repeat the issue in my original file or a test file… I must have bugged the conduit and a restart fixed it.
EDIT: actually it appears to be related to Display Pipeline and a Custom Display mode because I can only trigger it when using a specific display mode. I’ll report back if I can narrow it down to a bug and not user error in my pipeline code
