Can you post the model in the pre-fixed state?

That’s pretty easy - just make one or more clipping planes and either hide them or turn the layer on which they reside off. The clipping plane is still active despite them being hidden or on an off layer, but as they are not visible, you might not know they are there. So you might think there is a display bug.
