Clipping drawings - include text/annotations

I generally don’t have much use for clipping drawings here, but I do have a current project for which I thought they might be useful, so I tried them out in the current WIP. However, in the results I need to include some text labels which are positoned on the 3D objects in the scene but it looks like annotations are not currently taken into account… Is including them planned for the future?
