I’m trying to trace the profile of a scanned mesh like so:
I don’t normally use _Circle Tangent. It took me a good minute to figure out that it can’t pick a curve lying on the clipping plane (YZ Plane).
It will work if I hide the scanned reference mesh.
Hi Eric - see if changing the SnapToOccluded setting does you any good.

That did it, but I had 15 minutes of pure frustration, reading the _Circle help file and wondering what I was doing wrong. I never think about SnapToOccluded, I leave it disabled, and the curve wasn’t occluded. This feels buggy from the expected UI experience.
If you can see it → you can click it → you can snap it. I could see and click, but not snap.
It’s an open mesh if that matters.
