Hey,

i am stuck on this pattern and I am wondering if its even possible:

 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/mcneel/uploads/default/original/4X/6/a/0/6a092c4bab86cec334d6a071a27241b3953809bb.png)
My goal is to have concentric rings of circles, which become bigger the more you move out. The circles should also line up in a hexagonal way, as seen on the right. I would like to adjust the density in the middle from few to many, but I think maybe these are too many constraints

Anyone has some insight or can otherwise help? thanks

Try this solution.

yes, too many constraints. the number of circles in each ring is the same. otherwise you do not get each circle touching two circles in the outer ring, two in its own and two circles in the inner ring.

still the solution could be simpler

Super, thank you both! Very appreciated
