Choppy viewport, viewport not updating

Using laptop with GTX 1050

After using Rhino for a while, the viewport becomes
really choppy.
Not sure if it has to do with remaining battery percentage, but it was just below 60%

At the same time, viewport update doesn’t go too well. When selecting an object, the highlight doesn’t go on until after rotating or panning.
RMB click on object, no hilight, rotation after object is now highlighted.

Just updated gpu driver about a day ago…
Tried setting nvidia setting to performance rather than quality, and seems a bit better but not tolerable.

Closing/opening app again helps for short while, but starts to happen again.

Not file specific, happened with simple file as well.

Is this with just regular wireframe view?

What is the driver version you have currently installed?

Was using in shaded mode.
I didn’t turn back to wireframe(should have checked…)

Below is driver data: there’s a new one so I’ll update it now.
