Changing PrintWidth of curves not working in Rhino8Mac!?

Hello community,

I’ve just upgraded to Rhino8, and despite the promising new features, it unfortunately seems riddled with issues. In addition to my question about the CaptureToFile function ( CaptureToFile for Rhino8Mac not working!? ) I also have run into an issue trying to change the PrintWidth on curves. In Rhino7, I would just change PrintWidth from ‘By Layer’ to whatever number thickness required, and then ensure that PrintDisplay>State is turned “On”. In Rhino8, this doesn’t work; there is simply no change to the line thickness. Why is this happening? I love Rhino, and I would really like to use the updated version!

Hi CdeV -

In both Rhino 7 and Rhino 8, I do the following:

  • Launch Rhino with a factory-default template
  • Create a rectangle
  • Select the rectangle
  • In the Properties page, click the arrow in the Print Width pull-down
  • Select “2”
  • Run PrintDisplay and set the state to “On”

In both versions of Rhino, the exact same thing happens.
What am I doing differently?

I checked the ‘By Layer’ version, no problem here…..(Rhino 8.25)

Max.
