Changing layer colors through the popup layer panel doesn't work

when trying to change layer color properties through the layer popup panel, changes are not registered:

Confirmed, same issue here.
Tested on Version 7 (7.4.21069.13332, 2021-03-10

Note :
Changing the layer colour via the layer Panel works as expected.
Same for the floating window.
