Change the line width in PDF print

Hi @dale,

I am using FilePDF to generate the PDF prints.

How do I change the width of the line on PDF print?
the lines are hairline and they are hardly visible on paper.

The plot weight of the curve object is 0.2 and so they are fine on the layout view.

Hello - in the Print dialog, check the settings in ‘Linetypes and Line Widths’

As I had mentioned, this is using FilePDF (in RhinoCommon).

Hi @HepChan,

If I’m not mistaken, the FilePdf writer uses the print widths assigned to objects and layers. You can get/set these widths using RhinoCommon.

That’s what is being done.

The value (0.2) that I set in Rhino 5 for File->Print does not work for FilePDF print in Rhino 6.

So I changed it to (1.0) which works fine for FilePDF but it is way thicker in File->Print.

Is there a way to set the value that would work for both the printouts?

This sounds like a bug. You should be getting the same thicknesses under both scenarios. I’ll try to repeat this.

Just to make sure, are you using SR3?

I am using Rhino 6 SR4

Anything on this issue??

Please fix this ASAP.
