Change the last command option

Someone complained about the RMB and now when clicked it repeats the last command.

I rely on the RMB to bring up various options. I shouldn’t have to hold the RMB for a second to get there. That’s a nuisance, especially since one can just as easily repeat the last command with the space bar. Or as is obvious in the attached the option is top of the list.

You’ve made a primary interface option a secondary to a single command option. I don’t understand the logic supporting that.

Quick menus of options make working in Rhino efficient and comfortable. There’s been a notable reduction in the usability of the V8 version - this is just another example. There’s still ongoing requests to return most of what was availble before.

As can be seen, the repeat last command was available but so was everything else. Why is that single command more important than the rest? Especially since the same can be done with a single tap of the space bar?

For me, the two collections in the yellow squares are useful/ desirable. The other items are not needed so often as to be readily selected.

Have you tried the setting Options Mouse context menu delay?
Or try copy and paste this macro into the commandline:

-Options Mouse Rightbutton DelayContextMenu=1 enter enter enter

Thank you! that was easy. There’s an irritating insistence by developers to enable the new bells and whistles they’ve designed by default leaving it to the user to turn them off or back to the way they wanted them. apple is the best example of this irritating conceit. The so-called ‘natural’ scroll direction for the mouse for instance. I’ve had to reinstall the Mac OS numerous times last month after getting some help from Apple support. Each install called for days of resetting countless niggling details. I don’t really own my machine anymore - it seems to belong to the engineering department in Cupertino.
