If I press the Spacebar on the grasshopper canvas, a window to select a component opens and if I press Enter, I can select it. But At this time, Can I change the Grashopper component selection button from ‘Enter’ to ‘Spacebar’? It’s inconvenient to move hands to the Enter. If so, are there any Preferences or Plugins that can do that?
You don’t want to click the component selection with your left mouse?
You can right click on any component icon in the ribbon bars and set the alias for said component.
You can cover quite a few aliases with your left hand qwert access alone.
To get what you are after:
You can set it via File->Preferences->Interface->Create… and change it from default F4 to ‘Enter’
EDIT: I just reread your post and I see you want to assign it to space bar not enter but the Richards point it does seem like that would cause some issues with the names

I don’t think that makes any sense, as some component names contain spaces.
