I use the “Both” (solid and hatch) option for my sections. I was wondering if it’s possible to change the color of the solid part. Changing the color of the section layer changes the hatch line color. I wan to change the hatch background color.

It looks like you can do it, but as soon as you run stUpdate (and probably other commands) your change will be overwritten, so it is only sensible to do it on finished models.
When you create a section with the Both option, two items are added to the new Section layer: the hatch and a surface. The surface provides the background for the hatch. To change the colour, unlock the Section layer so you can select the surface and move it to a new layer with the colour of your choice.
