Change "sketch" command increment and type

Is there a way to change the precision of the curve created through the “sketch” command?
In Autocad for example you can change the type (spline, polyline) and increment which affects the precision of the curve created.
Is it possible something similar in rhino?
Or also, is it possible to create polyline without clicking?
