One example, I want to copy one entity but then I realize I want to it to be a different layer. I cannot switch mid command. I can do that with other commands, ie polyline.
Can you make the behavior universal?
Hi YIanni- you can change the current layer inside Copy, but the objects being copied do not change their layer when the current layer is changed. In Line, the line ends up on the current layer, so if you change the current layer in mid command it ‘works’ because the line ends up on the layer that is current when the command ends. Does that make sense, or am I missing the point?
