Chain curve displays offset from mesh

Hello

Why does the chain (edge loop) appear to float above the surface ; is this a bug?

It seems to be caused by the object being too small. The edge length of this object is about 0.01 units. If you scale the object up by 10 times, the issue you mentioned earlier should no longer occur.

It still happens at large scales, but I don’t think this should happen, even with very small objects.
