Centre mark on different layer also SameAs

Using the Annotation user defined inputs one can create nice Centre marks but is it possible to put these on another layer at the same time? In a clean 2D output drawing it is quite useful to have all the centrelines and centres on one layer. I use one called CENTRES. It may also be useful for creating a Hole Table as has been mentioned before. Even a different colour would help.
This is incredibly useful for those machining large numbers of holes/tapped holes etc in various engineering practices.

Another oddball worth perhaps a thought is a sort of reverse use of Match properties. in this one would pick on an object you wish to replicate the base properties (say layer, colour, linestyle) and Rhino would switch to those prior to object creation. When you get a lot of layers I have found this function useful in another program before. Call it Replicate, Draw SameAs, whatever works but it can cut down later picking an object out and then changing properties.

Forgive me if I’ve missed these functions. Might be worth me looking to see if these are doable in Python.
