Center/Mid confusion in German UI

This is since ever, but never to late too change:
In German, the command prompt for e.g. a _Circle asks for the mid of the circle.
In fact the center is meant, and in the English UI it is correct.

Befehl: _Circle
Kreismitte ( Verformbar Vertikal 2Punkte 3Punkte Tangente UmKurve PunkteAnpassen )

In the prompt for an arc, the naming is correct:
Befehl: _Arc
Bogenzentrum ( Verformbar StartPunkt Tangente Verlängerung )

This is the mid of a circle…

hi Charles, I don’t speak German well enough to know. When I am looking this up in example texts, I am seeing Kreis Mitte and Kreis Zentrum being used both for indicating the center of a circle.

I was looking here

You are right, the two terms are often used for the same.

Even in here the word Zentrum is not to find:

For me, center (Zentrum) sounds more correct in a CAD.
You draw the circle from the Mitte (in German), but when you snap to the real center of a circle, you need to use the center snap not mid.
Confusing.

The _Arc prompt uses the correct term.
So no argument to use mid for the circle.

Perhaps that’s all not so important.
Just wanted to report what I was asked in a training.

Inside the _Arc command, the wording changes from Mitte to Zentrum…:
