Cast shadows from transparency map not surface edge

Hi There,

I’m hoping there’s a way to have the shadows of the below object cast from the blue marked edge rather than the red marked edge as shown now.


Any ideas?

What are you rendering with??

I’m using viewcapture to file

In that case the question is: are you capturing the Rendered viewmode or something else? Raytraced maybe?
