Can't select de-select, save or run commands, everything else works fine

steps:

  1. After opening a Floating viewport, things felt odd [3DConnexion wasn’t working on the floating VP] and It showed as active both it, and the VP on the main rhino window.
  2. So I closed the Floating VP,
  3. at this point I couldn’t select anything in the rhino VP.
  4. i selected some geometry via the layer panel.
  5. Now I can not de-select the selected stuff. [can de-select by locking the layer]
  6. everything function ok Only running command won’t work [it is possible to type commands but they won’t run.
  7. escape does nothing
  8. I can’t save, but if i go via manu and try to save, it opens the save window, but it won’t save.

I’m on Version 8 (8.17.25063.13002, 2025-03-04)
I can add the most recent Syst-Info But I’ll have to force quit rhino first to do that and perhaps loose some stuff on the unsaved file.
