I’m trying to export a 3d scan made with Artec Studio to Rhino, but it crashes all the time. I tryed different file types. Than I whote to the support of Studio’s manufacturer and they answered “It’s the problem of the software you use, not ours” So I’m here. If it can help, here’s the link to their software.
A file that causes the crash would help. If it is a confidential file you can submit it with rhino3d.com/upload . If you copy the link to this discussion we can better ensure the right person sees it.
Meshlab (free) might help to determine if the file is readable. It will load/save many standard point cloud and mesh formats.
