i made a copy of rendering view in options and turned of everything i could think of to get rid of the object shadow when rendering. also in the shadows plane they are turned of for this view
BUT: if i turn of object shadows in shadow preferences in view preferences of my altered render view copy - which would most likely do the trick i guess - the whole object just dissapears!!! whyy!???
so, how do i get rid of objekt shadows!/

Hi @moonray ,
You can disable shadows for specific objects in the Properties panel when they are selected. If that doesn’t help, upload a small sample 3dm file and screenshots to explain more.

yeah… that would pretty make sense, i hadn´t unchecket that yet… now i did, unchecked making shadows, receiving shadows… and still WT!..-.-
i dont get it.
btw. is there any alternative renderer i can get to run under mac 10.13?(
did you try to turn it off and on again
