Cannot enter a point by entering the coordinates in the command line

When I enter in the command line coordinates in the world coordinatesystem whwn there is asked for the point does not appear in the drawing.
In the history I read; unknown command; x,y,z,

In stead of that I can place the point with one mouseclick

What command you’re running and what are you typing in exactly for coordinates?

HI
You need to start the Point command first so Rhino knows what you want to do with the coordinates.

by example the LINE command
or thePOINT command

I always get ; unknown command; 4,5,6,

Here’s my Command line history:

Click on Point icon in the Sidebar;
Command: _Point
Location of point object: 4,5,6

I have a point object at 4,5,6

What does the command line say when you type the 4,5.6? What is the prompt?

-Pascal

Ah,… thanks John my problem is solved now.

II placed a comma too much in the command line i.e 4,5,6, instead of 4,5,6
