Can Rhino be used for professional sign making?

Hi, I just purchased Rhino 5 for my CNC machining needs, and I’m wondering if it can be used to make professional wooden signs? There doesn’t seem to be much talk about this topic, and most CNC machine shops seem to be using Aspire and VCarve Pro.

Can anyone fill me in on ways to design letters and produce signage with Rhino?

Greetings Mike!

Look up the ‘Flow’ command and run through the tutorials.

There is also the program RhinoCAM which works inside of Rhino. It is for milling. Find it at food4rhino.com.

Also take a look at madCAM:

I should have mentioned I also have RhinoCAM. I will certainly take a look at the Flow tutorials.
