I found a .DXF of a model I did in 2005. I imported it into RH8 and it came in as separate mesh faces. Each board as 6 faces. I can join them, but commands like filet do not work on them. Can I convert them to polysurfaces?
You could try Bevel mesh after you join the faces or convert the mesh faces to planar surfaces, using MeshtoNURB. Then you should be able to fillet them. Note that MeshtoNURB only works with a relatively small number of faces
Thanks. MeshtoNURB is what I want. It’s all squares and rectangles, as in standard lumber.
