In the latest WIP i see that the grid fades out.
For me the grid is a very technical element and i would like to see exactly where it ends instead of having it fade.
I also use a custom script to increse/decrease spacing using keyboard shorcuts.
Is it possible to implement something like this? :

Yes - the fade is a per display mode setting. Go to Options > View > Display Modes > pick your mode, and at the bottom change “Grid appearance” from “Faded Grid” to “Show grid behind all objects”. Shaded, Ghosted, X-Ray and Concept default to the faded grid now, Wireframe doesn’t.
In the latest BETA there’s also a “Fade range %” in that same spot when Faded Grid is selected, so you can tighten the fade way down instead of turning it off if you’d rather keep a bit of it. https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-96500

grid that changes gradation as you zoom is not useful to me. I need a very precise reliable grid so i can snap different parts of a model right into place.
I also use the same grid with the same spacing increase/decrease for all the files, so i can copy-paste from one file to another and snap into place different parts of a model.
We can support 0%, but that will be the same as Show grid behind all objects which is what I would recommend you use instead.

At first fade looks interesting, but after some time I get headache from it, and have to switch it off.
I would be happy this is switched off by default, or there is a global off switch.
When a new “feature” is introduced the usual McNeel practice is to make it the default. Two examples from the past were lightweight extrusions, and control points being displayed when a curve was selected. I’ve seen before a claim that this is done so that users will be aware of the new features. I find this practice annoying.

It make sense to show new features, otherwise no-one would ever notice, but…
