Can I adjust my isometric angle align to the current cplane?

Hi I have a new cplane that i set up myself. I am wondering if there is a way to set up a standard north east isometric angle that is align to this new cplane? it seems like the current isometric command is bind to the world plane.
Thanks!

Hi -

The Isometric views are bound to the world plane, yes. If you need such view, you’ll have to temporarily remap the geometry to the world plane and then undo that change.

is there any future plan to change this? i think it would be really helpful if isometric view can be bound to the cplane view, allowing for more flexibility.

Here is a script which will allow you to choose from the 4 standard isometric views (viewed from above) relative to the active CPlane. Note that this will change your active viewport projection to parallel - as true isometric views are parallel projections.

Hi -

I’ve added RH-64507 so that we can track requests for this feature.
