Cameraclipping and shadows

Hi @jeff do you know why the shadows disappear when the cameraclipping kicks in?

Also do you know why it affects the building?
It is an inserted block and not affected by the clipping, but it is inserted at 0,0,0 which is behind the camera.

Hey @Holo, The only thing I can think of at the moment is that something is confusing Rhino’s shadowing volume calculations, and thus, objects that are supposed to cast shadows are being thrown out of the calculations. There’s probably something specific with your situation that is either not making sense to Rhino, or causing things to bail prematurely (i.e. a Bug :slight_smile: )

Is it possible to get this model? Or perhaps a simplified example that shows the same problem?
